Nicholas Diaz

NICHOLAS DIAZ

Nicholas Diaz (Macbeth) is a Second-year Graduate Student at Cal State LA, getting his Master's Degree in Television, Film, and Theatre as a part of the Acting Cohort. He is incredibly humbled to be playing his role in Macbeth. Prior roles that he draws inspiration from for this performance include his roles as Sebastian in Twelfth Night, as Cole in Keely and Du, and as Brother Jeremiah in Something Rotten. Nicholas' role as Macbeth is the focus for his Culminating Project, and he thanks his peers and teachers, past and present, for aiding and supporting him. Without them, the journey to tackle such a feat would have been monumentally harder. Nicholas would also like to thank his Father for all his support in getting him where he is today, his Brother for inspiring him, and his Grandmother for her love. He hopes his Friends, Family, and all others reading this enjoy the show.

Damaris Vizvett

DAMARIS VIZVETT

Damaris Vizvett (Lady Macbeth) is currently completing her final year here at Cal State LA as an Undergraduate student in the BA Theatre Performance option. Damaris has been in many shows during her time here at Cal State LA, some of her favorite roles include La Cubana in Latina (2016), The Old Woman in Candide (2017), and Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd (2020), The show that never was. As for her latest work at Cal State LA, Fall 2023, she went on to play Nostradamus in the musical Something Rotten! Damaris started attending Cal State LA in Fall 2016. She went on educational leave during the 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic and was away from acting and singing for roughly 2 years. For Damaris, it has been a long journey with many detours along the way, but she is so glad to be back creating magic on the stage once again. She sends all her love to her friends and family from every corner of her life. She's honored to be playing this iconic role with an absolutely phenomenal cast and crew! Lastly, she sends her gratitude to her incredible director, Steve Rothman! "Rothman, thank you for seeing me and my potential in this role. This is truly an experience I will never forget." 

Ryder Perez

RYDER PEREZ

Ryder Perez (MacDuff) is proud to be a part of Cal State LA’s Macbeth. This is Ryder’s first production with Cal State LA, having recently transferred from Riverside Community College. He’d like to thank the director Stephen Rothman for the opportunity to play the role of Macduff and the cast and crew of Macbeth for the comradery and love shown during his first production. As always Ryder thanks his family and friends for always supporting him and encouraging his career in the Arts.

Anthony Gamboa

ANTHONY GAMBOA

Anthony Gamboa (Malcom) is a 22-year-old, senior at Cal State LA, majoring in Theater with an option in Performance and minoring in Entertainment Marketing, transferring from Fresno, CA. He is starring in Cal State LA’s MFA short film, Biting Eyes coming out later this spring; this will be his first Shakespearean production. His favorite credits include a 2019 Irene Ryan Nomination for writing and starring in a documentary titled Project 19 and his work in last semester’s production, Something Rotten. At a young age, his curiosity and love for the craft catapulted him into becoming an artist in LA, his family fuels his creative endeavors with overwhelming support. This will be his 6th and final production at Cal State LA, he is very appreciative for all the opportunities that Cal State LA has given him. He is going to miss working in college productions but is eager for the opportunities that lie ahead as well as a proud soon to be alumni!

Montgomery King

MONTGOMERY KING

Montgomery King (Banquo) is a second year MFA in TVFT (Writing Option) student at Cal State LA. They are from Omaha, Nebraska and received their BA in Theatre from Hastings College. Favorite roles onstage include Julia in Omnium Gatherum (Hastings College), Eddie Flagrante in Zombie Prom (Hastings College), and Peter Quince/Ensemble in Something Rotten! (Cal State LA). 

Penelope Harris

PENELOPE HARRIS

Penelope Harris (Ross) is a Junior undergrad who was The Minstrel in last semester’s production of Something Rotten here at CSULA. Her previous works include Eddie in The Rocky Horror Show, Gibbson/ Mr. Burns in Mr. Burns: a Post Electric Play at Cypress College. She was also the showrunner for the Proud Play Festival at Cypress College where she helped aspiring queer writers write, produce, and direct their original shows. She is honored to be playing Ross in this production of the Scottish Play. She's a proud Magic: the Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons gamemaster. She thanks her family and partner for all of their support.

Ben Vega

BEN VEGA

Ben Vega (Duncan) is an actor and professional singer. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance at Cal State LA. This is Ben’s second production with the college and was seen in last semester’s musical production of Something Rotten. He's appeared on television, social media campaigns, and independent films. During the pandemic, he hosted an online jazz show called, “The Ben Vega Show”. Classically he has performed with such groups as the LA Symphony and Choir, the University of La Verne Chamber Singers, and the Cal State LA Chamber Singers. Ben has also appeared in such productions as Footloose the Musical, The Music Man, and Babes in Toyland, to name a few. He is privileged to have the love and support of family and friends.

Marina Chavez

MARINA LOVE CHAVEZ

Marina Love Chavez ( Porter / Messenger ) is a 23-year-old theater student at Cal State LA, using the pronouns she/her/they/them. A transfer student from ELAC, where she earned her AAT and several skills certificates in acting, directing, and script analysis. Her first role at Cal State LA consisted of playing Loud Stone in Eurydice, which earned her an Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship nomination for the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF) for Region 8, where she made it to finals in the top 16. Marina is very proud of her past work, including being the Associate Director for The African Company Presents Richard III at ELAC, which was nominated to perform at the same festival. In addition to acting and directing, she also loves to write. One of her favorite pieces was a 10-minute one-act involving a rap battle between Simon Cowell & Gordon Ramsay. She loves to write comedy, themes centered around LGBTQ+ topics, and more! Marina wishes to one day return to education as a theater professor, write several plays & fictional novels, and direct/perform as many productions as possible. When she isn’t in the theater, you can find her watching YouTube, crocheting stuffed animals, drawing, reading, or eating out with friends! She would like to thank her friends in her theater community for supporting her, but a big thank you to her biggest supporter, her dad, for telling her to chase her dreams and reminding her to pursue greatness. She’d like to give a shout out to her best friend Miriam for not only being her scene partner for KCACTF, but for having her back and constant support! 

Paulyn Sreekhwan

PAULYN SREEKHWAN

Paulyn Sreekhwan (Witch) is finishing her last semester at Cal State LA as a theatre major with an emphasis in performance. This is Paulyn’s fourth show at Cal State LA and she feels very fortunate for this opportunity. She was most recently seen in the 2025 MFA cohort’s 10-minute play festival, Int. Bar - Day, and Keely & Du. She would like to first thank everyone who worked on this incredible show for all their hard work and amazing memories - cast, crew, director, assistant director, designers, etc. Second, she would like to thank her family and friends for their continuous support!

Delaney Reineke

DELANEY REINEKE

Delaney Reineke (Witch) is a Theatre major, with an option in Performance. This is her second production and final semester at Cal State LA. You might have recently seen her in the Int. Bar-Day play festival, and the short film The Day After. She is incredibly grateful to the talented cast and crew and extends thanks to the entire department of Theatre at Cal State LA for their warmth, kindness, and constant support. She’d also like to give a shout out to her friends, family, and roommates for always believing in her. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Elizabeth Hernandez

ELIZABETH HERNANDEZ

Elizabeth Hernandez (Lady Macduff) is a Theatre Arts major—Performance Option, and is thrilled to be making her Cal State LA debut in Macbeth. They recently transferred from Riverside City College, where they received an Associate’s Degree in Theatre with a concentration in Performance, and a certification in Technical Theatre. Recent credits include Riverside Community Players’ Puffs (Hannah/Xavia/Others),  RCC’s The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (Henrietta Iscariot), and RCC’s The Altruists (Sydney). Her recent tech credits include RCC’s The Diviners (Stage Manager), SIUE’s Summer Showbiz’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Asst. Stage Manager), and SIUE’s Tartuffe (Sound Board Operator). Elizabeth would like to thank their family, friends, and her partner Dustin for their endless love and support. Also, a special thank you to Delaney for always offering up her dorm as a place to stay after late-night rehearsals (I couldn’t have done any of this without you!) Enjoy the show!

Amit Pal Bharath

AMIT PAL BHARATH

Amit Pal Bharath (Lennox), hailing from Oslo, Norway, Amit began cultivating his passion for performance on stage at a young age, participating in the Norwegian Youth Festivals of Art (UKM). This early exposure to theatre sparked a lifelong love for the craft. Amit then pursued an undergraduate degree in Film Production at SAE Institute Sydney. While honing his filmmaking skills, he was drawn back to acting, completing intensive training programs at the prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) Australia. This included the Screen Actors Studio program (2020-2021), the Actors Residency Program (2020), and a deep dive into the Meisner Technique (2020). He further solidified his foundation with two years at the Actors Cauldron (2020-2022). Amit is now a second-year MFA candidate in the TV, Film and Theatre program (Acting Option) at Cal State LA. He brings a wealth of experience and a global perspective to the stage. Amit would like to thank his professors and his cohort for their support and guidance! 

Delilah Valerie

DELILAH VALERIE

Delilah Valerie (Gentlewoman) is a senior here at Cal State LA, majoring in Theater with an option in Performance. This is Delilah’s first official production at Cal State LA, however, she has worked as a reader for the John Lion New Plays Festival and performed in INT. BAR - DAY. Delilah has also performed at Irvine Valley College in the musical Oliver!, playing the role of Mrs. Sowerberry. One of her upcoming projects will be performing in the Beckett Project at Cal State LA. Delilah would like to thank her family for their undying support of her pursuit of acting.

Tobias Teng

TOBIAS TENG

Tobias Teng, or Teng Zunlong (腾尊龙)is a junior at Cal State LA, majoring in Theatre with an option in Performance. This is Tobias's first production with Cal State LA, having recently transferred from Fullerton College. He was most recently seen as Sir Lenny The Observant in Marian, Or The True Tale of Robin Hood. Tobias hopes to use film to bring ancient Chinese culture of literature and martial arts to the West.

Matthew Dominguez

MATTHEW DOMINGUEZ

Matthew Dominguez (Donalbain) is a first-year Cal State LA student majoring in Theatre Arts. Macbeth is his second production to work on with the department. You might’ve seen him in his previous role as Nigel in the 2023 fall semester’s production of Something Rotten. When he’s not on stage, Matthew enjoys listening to his favorite music, playing video games, and making late-night trips to 7/11 with his friends. Matthew would like to give thanks to his parents Matt and Jenn, and his family, and friends for their continued support in his future endeavors. And like usual, he will now take a nap. 

Victoria Montoya

Victoria Montoya (Fleance/Apparition) This is Victoria Montoya's first production at Cal State LA.  They are a freshman who majors in theatre performance. So, they are nervous and as excited as you all for this performance. They will be playing Fleance who is Banquo's Son and Apparition Number 1. They are very excited to show the production they and their cast/staff members have worked so hard on! 

Miracle Moore

MIRACLE MOORE

Miracle Moore (Menteith) is an undergrad student at Cal State LA studying psychology. She has a strong interest and curiosity for the human mind and the ways in which it functions and controls human emotion and behavior. While she is working towards her B.A. in psychology, her first love is for the arts. Miracle has been passionate about singing, acting, dancing, and performing overall since she was a child. This is Miracle’s second production at Cal State LA, her first being last semester's musical Something Rotten. Miracle has loved her experience in the theater these last two semesters and also has a strong interest in film acting, which she plans to pursue once she graduates next semester. Miracle would like to thank all of her friends and family for the constant love and support they give her. Miracle would like to give a special shoutout to her parents, to her dad for all of his sacrifices and hard work to help her get to where she is today, and to her mommy for being the strongest, most beautiful, kindest and selfless woman the world has ever known, and for always being a shining light and a source of unconditional love to everyone around her. Miracle would like to dedicate this performance, and every future performance to the life of her mommy.

Coko Kirton

COKO KIRTON

Coko Kirton (Hecate and Caithness) is in her final semester at Cal State LA, majoring in Theatre Arts. Coko is a transfer student from Santa Monica College and is so excited to be able to take part in her first ever Shakespeare play. She was most recently seen as "Portia" in Somehing Rotten, directed by Meredith Greenberg in Fall 2023. Coko plans to pursue acting after she graduates in any capacity she can, but her goal is to create her own body of work through writing and directing. Coko would like to thank the entire theatre department faculty and staff for creating a space where she was able to learn and grow without ever feeling like she wasn't supported.

Aaron Gonzalez

AARON GONZALEZ

Aaron Gonzalez (Messenger/Ensemble) is a senior at Cal State LA, majoring in Theatre in the option of performance. Aaron would first like to thank Steve Rothman for mentoring him for 2024’s KCACTF and allowing to continue to showcase his talents on stage for this production. Secondly, he would like to thank his family and friends for showing support for the entirety of the cast, and to watch all the hard work put into this production. Thirdly, Aaron would like to congratulate the cast, and thank everyone for being such wonderful human beings, helpful kind souls, and continuing the same friendships and families built from previous productions. This is Aaron’s fourth and final performance at CSULA, having previously appeared in Fighting Back, Spring 2023’s 10-Minute Play Festival, and the most iconic show to be put in CSULA, Something Rotten. “she’s got a point. she’s an icon, she’s a legend, and she is the moment, now come on now.” Thank You All. Mia Zell

MIA ZELL

Mia Zell (Young Siward / Apparition) is currently a sophomore at Cal State LA majoring in theatre with an emphasis on production and design!  This is Mia's second time performing in a Cal State LA production, most recently she had the honor of assistant stage managing Something Rotten. Mia would like to thank her friends and family for continuously supporting her throughout her creative endeavors.

Clara Garza

CLARA GARZA

Clara Garza (Young Macduff/Apparition) is a first-year English major. This is her second production with Cal State LA, the first being Little Stone in Eurydice. She has received awards for her writing and two letters from Queen Elizabeth II for her dancing (ballet). She loves acting and performing, her favorite roles being Spanish Princess in Swan Lake, Soldier in The Addams Family, Agrabahn in Alladin, and Orphan and Angel in The Nutcracker. Clara would like to thank her mother for being so supportive in every endeavor she pursues.

Luca Stapleton

LUCA STAPLETON

Luca Stapleton (Seyton) is a twenty year old actor, poet, singer, and playwright from Carlsbad, California. This is Luca’s second year at Cal State LA, and their second production with the department. Luca’s passion for the performing arts was inspired by their mother, Judi Stapleton, and their skills were developed immeasurably by Katherine Gardner, their vocal coach, and Jillian Porter-Eshelman, their high school theater teacher. Luca’s favorite roles on stage have been Shakespeare in Something Rotten, Billy Flynn in Chicago, Lilith in She Kills Monsters, and Solange in a student-directed performance of The Maids. Luca is influenced by the theatrical and literary works of Antonin Artaud and Jean Genet, the films of John Waters, and the acting of Mia Goth. Their hobbies include attending The Rocky Horror Picture Show, watching horror movies, reading far too many books, and listening to punk and goth music. Luca would like to thank Meredith Greenberg, Carolyn Dunn, and Daniel Czypinski for their support and guidance.

Brian Arechiga

BRIAN ARECHIGA

Brian Arechiga (Doctor) is a senior at Cal State LA, majoring in Theatre with an option in Performance. This will be the sixth play Brian has worked on throughout his acting career at Cal State LA. His favorite roles include Uncle Fester in Addams Family, Toby in Sweeney Todd, Eugene in Grease, and Nick Bottom in Something Rotten. Outside of Cal State LA, Brian has also worked as a Scare Actor for Universal Studios Hollywood's Halloween Horror Nights for four seasons and as a performer for both Universal Studios Hollywood and the Disneyland Resort. Brian would like to thank his mom, dad, sister, Tias, Uncle, grandparents, cousin, and friends, for always supporting his goals and dreams and being the reason why he performs.

AJ Chavez

AJ CHAVEZ

AJ Chavez (First Murderer) is an undergrad in their final year here at Cal State LA, majoring in Theatre Art Performance option. Last November, AJ was in the premiere staged reading of Carolyn Dunn’s Chasing Tailfeathers, they read for Stage Directions and other miscellaneous characters. Just a month before that, they were in the Moving Arts Theatre Company’s First Look Reading Series, they read for Sam in Jennifer Bobiwash’s Never Say Die.  AJ would like to thank their mother for supporting their wild ideas and dreams, their friends and loved ones for always believing in them.  As well as Mr. Gallegos, who was AJ’s High School Theatre Director who sadly passed this fall. AJ would have not thought about pursuing acting, but through Mr. Gallegos’ encouragement and kindness, they learned to love acting and the art of Theatre. Macbeth had been their last production with him and they are appreciative to be able to have it be their final production once more.

Julian Mendez-Chagolla

JULIAN MENDEZ-CHAGOLLA

Julian Mendez-Chagolla (Murderer/Soldier) is a sophomore at Cal State LA majoring in Theatre Arts, with an option in performance. This is currently Julian’s second performance at Cal State LA, having performed in last semester’s production of Something Rotten. Julian also assisted on prior productions Keely & Du and Fighting Back. These past 2 years have been Julian’s first experience in the world of theatre and he is ready to perform and entertain the audience from now until years to come! Julian would love to thank his family and friends for their continued support and encouragement, and his previous Acting Professors for their teachings!

Audrey Marie

Audrey Marie (Murderer) (she/her) is currently in her last semester here at Cal State LA. Her past credits include Dreaming of Our FutureExit With a Magic Cow, and just recently she shot a short film, El Diablito for the MFA program. She comes from Palmdale, California but currently lives here in Alhambra. She would like to thank her family, especially her mother, Marisol for the continued support and love.

STEPHEN ROTHMAN

Stephen Rothman (Director) is a Tenured Full Professor in the Department of Theatre at California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA), having joined the faculty in 2001. He is best known by West Coast Theatre audiences for his work as founder and artistic leader of the revitalized Pasadena Playhouse. He also served as artistic director of the Sacramento Theatre Company. His directing career has taken him across the country and around the world, including a 2008 production of Harold Pinter’s Betrayal in Florence, Italy, for the Florence International Theatre Company. His American Resident/Regional Theatre credits include more than 100 plays in 16 different States for 40 different theatre companies. He is especially proud of his work on numerous world premieres including Sparky and the Fitz starring Academy Award winner Eli Wallach at the George Street Playhouse in New Jersey, Learn to Fall starring France’s award-winning clown/artist Buffo at The Attic Theatre in Detroit, Gilligan’s Island, the Musical for Chicago’s Organic Theatre and Father, Son, and Holy Coach for the Santa Monica Playhouse to name just a few. Included among his most current directorial work are his two Pandemic World Premiere Zoom productions of Old Blood in 2022 and War of the Worlds in 2020. He directed the world premiere of BLOODLESS by Nicholas Walker Herbert, here at CSULA in March of 2020 opening on March 12 and closing after it’s Friday the 13th performance due to Covid restrictions. Rothman has had the privilege to collaborate with Deaf West Theatre directing numerous American Sign Language (ASL) productions for the renowned company. His most recent directorial work for Deaf West was their production of American Buffalo that starred 2022 Academy Award winning actor Troy Kotsur (Coda) and 2021 Academy Award nominated actor Paul Raci (Sound of Metal). The play was named Critics Choice by the LA Times, LA Weekly, and Backstage. He has been collaborating with Deaf West Theatre since 1994 and his other American Sign Language (ASL) productions with the company include: Of Mice and MenOrphansWhat Are You… Deaf?, and Pinocchio. His theatre awards include winning Florida’s Carbonell Award for Best Director for God’s Man in Texas at Florida Stage as well as a Los Angeles Drama-Logue win for his direction of an American Sign Language production of Orphans for Deaf West Theatre. And most recently (November 2017) he won the 2016-2017 STAGE SCENE LA award for Outstanding Direction, Drama/Intimate Theatre for his work on Cat’s Paw at Actor’s Co-op. For American television, he spent two seasons directing episodes of The New WKRP in Cincinnati. At CSULA, he served as the two term Chair of the Department of Theatre Arts and Dance, and he received the 2012/2013 University Award as Outstanding Professor of the Year. In spring 2015 he was granted a sabbatical award and both taught classes and created an original 8-episode sitcom at The Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts in Sweden. Mr. Rothman is a proud 40-year member of The Society of Director’s and Choreographers (SDC) where he served for 8 years on their Executive Board. He has been a member of the Director’s Guild of America (DGA) for 30 years. Additionally, Mr. Rothman is an invited member of the National Theatre Conference (NTC), a former 8-year Tony Award voter, a member of the Association of Theatrical Press Agents and Managers (ATPAM), a 23 year Trustee of the Pension and Health Fund for the Society of Stage Director’s and Choreographers and serves on the Advisory Board for the British Academic Journal Comedy Studies. His alumni awards include being named a university Grad Made Good at Florida State University as well as having the honor in November 2018 of being named to the Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame at Riverview High School in Sarasota, Florida. In January of 2023, Rothman was awarded a sabbatical from CSULA to work on a top-secret, not to be discussed autobiographical book that continues to be a mystery even to him as he wrote it. He is currently working on a final draft and remains hopeful it will be completed this summer. The sabbatical also allowed him to work at the the Valdez Theatre Conference in Alaska. His time with them included working closely with Valdez Conference Coordinator Dawson Moore on various aspects of last year’s 2023 conference in Alaska including helping to develop the new Voiceover Workshop that featured voice over stars Rodger Bumpass (Squid Ward from SpongeBob SquarePants) and Debi Derryberry (Jimmy Neutron from The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius). He has been invited back to the 2024 Conference in June as a “Featured Artist” where he will be directing several plays.

Michael Wogulis (Scenic Design) is a Southern California-based scenic and projections designer. He is a double alumnus of UC San Diego, receiving both a BA in Theatre and Communications as well as an MFA in Scenic Design from the university. Karyn D. Lawrence (Lighting Designer) is a theatrical and entertainment lighting designer and instructor based in Los Angeles, California. Selected regional/local theater credits include Center Theatre Group, South Coast Repertory, La Mirada Theater, East West Players, Ebony Repertory Theatre, Boston Court Pasadena, The Pasadena Playhouse, International City Theatre, Antaeus Theatre Company, and Arizona Broadway Theatre.  She is the resident lighting designer for the New Swan Shakespeare Festival in Orange County. Danni Calderon

DANNI CALDERON

Danni Calderon (Makeup Designer) Danni is an undergrad in his final year here at Cal State LA, he is majoring in Theater Arts Production and Design. He is a transfer student from Mount SAC with the background in Studio Arts. He is also a self-taught special effects makeup artist. This is Danni's first time being a designer for any show; in the past he has dedicated his time and craft creating creatures and monsters of all kinds. He is now taking a leap into the theatre world to bring to life something entirely new before graduating in the spring. Primarily an airbrush artist. Danni has been dedicating his time and his work to Knotts Scary Farm as a Scare Makeup Artist, and recently this past year at the Queen Mary Shaqtoberfest. Danni would like to thank his friends and his family for constantly supporting him, motivating him to pursue his dreams, and always reminding him to have fun in the process. Danni would also like to thank Greg Smith, his special effects teacher at Mount SAC, for inspiring him to get into the Special Effects field and showing him what wonderful things can be brought to life with just a simple idea or a little madness.

Collin Bressie

COLLIN BRESSIE

Collin Bressie (Fight Director) is an actor, fight director and teacher based in Los Angeles California.  He is a Certified Teacher with the Society of American Fight Directors and received his M.F.A. in Theatre, Film & Television with an emphasis in Performance from California State University Los Angeles and holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts from California State University Dominguez Hills. He currently teaches courses in acting and stage combat at California State University Los Angeles, Fullerton College and Long Beach City College.  Collin is also a recurring guest artist/course coordinator at the CSU Summer Arts Festival.  Onstage, he has performed with A Noise Within, Deaf West Theatre, The Southern California Shakespeare Festival and Sacred Fools Theatre Company.  Fight Direction credits include the Disney Channel, A Noise Within, Deaf West Theatre, The Geffen and the Actor's Co-op.  He is also the owner of the West Coast Armory, Los Angeles’s premiere theatrical weapons rental company.

Carly DW Bones (Intimacy Director) is a theatre director, intimacy director/coordinator, sex educator, community facilitator and thespomancer (theatre witch). She works as a freelance intimacy director and educator in the greater Los Angeles area for professional theatre companies (A Noise Within, Antaeus, Boston Court, Coeurage, Coin & Ghost, East West Players, EST LA, Ghost Road, Greenway Court, Hero Theatre, IAMA, The Road, Skylight, Son of Semele, , StarKid, Theatre 40) and university theatre programs (Cal Lutheran University, CSULA, CSULB, Emerson LA, Occidental College, UCLA, UCR, USC, Pomona College). Carly created and directed at the feminist theatre ensemble, The Illyrian Players, from 2011-2019. Jerry "Yi Hang" Zou (Assistant Fight Director) is a senior earning his B.F.A. degree in Theatre Performance at Chapman University. He was a student of Collin Bressie during his sophomore year of college and has been under his training and mentorship since then. He is very honored and privileged to be invited to the CSULA Macbeth team to assist Collin, and he is very proud of the growth and hard work of the students. Past fight direction credits: A Night of Stage Combat: A Fight Collection (Chapman), Small Mouth Sounds (Chapman), A Crooked Star (Original Pirate Musical), She Kills Monsters (Stage Combat Assistant at Long Beach Playhouse.) Future credits include: Spring Awakening (Fight Direction at Chapman) and the role of Much Miller in The Heart of Robinhood (Electric Company Theatre.) After graduating, he wishes to continue his journey as an actor, director, fight director, and stunt performer. 

Jolana Villarreal

JOLANA VILLARREAL

Jolana Villarreal (Stage Manager) is in her final semester at Cal State LA. She will be graduating with her B.A. in Theatre Design & Production. Macbeth is Jolana's final production with the Department of Theatre and Dance. She would like to dedicate this production to her parents, Joe and Lana, and her younger siblings, Julisa and Joseph, for being her biggest supporters these past four years and doing everything to help get her where she is now. Jolana will be attending UC Irvine in Fall 2024 as she purses a M.F.A in Stage Mangement. Jolana hopes to one day stage manage the production that inspired her career. Ainsley Huff (Props Coordinator/Deck Crew) is a senior at Cal State LA.  They are majoring in both Theatre Arts and Political Science.  This is Ainsley's first production as the props coordinator, and they are extremely grateful for the experience.  Outside of the theatre Ainsley has participated in Model UN conferences at the national level with Cal State LA.  They look forward to continuing to keep a foot in both the world of political science and that of theatre.

Sherlyn Noh (Wardrobe Crew) is a senior earning her B.A. degree in Theatre at Cal State LA. She appeared in last year’s production of Fighting Back!  This is her first time working as Wardrobe Crew. Sherlyn isn’t sure what the world has in store for her next, but there will be a solution for her future plan and dream.
